In tropical Indonesia, golf can be enjoyed year-round, both north and south of the equator. Our country’s climate is very suitable for golf and leisure activities. Due to the quality and affordability of golf in Indonesia, the sport is easily interwoven throughout our hospitality sector. Hotels, resorts, golf and wellness are easily accessible to inbound tourists as well as our residents and expatriates.
Hoteliers see the value of having a golf facility as part of their overall offerings. For golf courses looking to improve their services, and for hotels looking to add a golf course, in this issue we’re profiling the global leaders in golf course design and golf club management.

These leading designers and management companies provide profiles of their leading projects in the region. As Indonesia shares the island of Borneo with our neighbor Malaysia, we also highlight the courses in Sabah with the Sabah Tourism Board.
We see the value that golf brings to the Indonesia economy, and therefore are also working on building channels to build golf tourism for the country. Hotelier Indonesia welcomes an opportunity to engage with companies looking to expand their presence in Indonesian hotels, resorts, spa and golf.
